"Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Psalm 34:14
I do not care how old you are, how young you are, whatever. You can lift people and help them. Heaven knows there are so very, very, very many people in this world who need help. Oh, so very, very many. Let's get the cankering, selfish attitude out of our lives and stand a little taller and reach a little higher in the service of others. As Browning said, "A man's reach should exceed his grasp." Stand taller, stand higher, lift those with feeble knees, hold up the arms of those that hang down. Live the gospel of Jesus Christ. Forget yourself."

Stand a Little Taller - Gordon B. Hinckley
"Then thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.
Psalm 27:8
In a coming day, only those men who have taken their priesthood seriously, by diligently seeking to be taught by he Lord Himself, will be able to bless, guide, protect strengthen, and heal others. Only a man who has paid the price for priesthood power will be able to bring miracles to those he loves and keep his marriage and family safe, now and throughout eternity.
What is the price to develop such priesthood power? The Savior's senior Apostle, Peter, ... declared qualities we should seek. ... He named faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, charity, and diligence (see 2 Peter 1:5-10). And don't forget humility! So I ask, how would our family members, friends, and coworkers say you and I are doing in developing these and other spiritual gifts? The more those attributes are developed, the greater will be our priesthood power."
